For the past 4 days, I have been taking a daily 1.5 mile walk with the dogs. Prior to that, I would take quick walks and be done. Now, I am making an effort to walk farther. And today, I got back on the elliptical for a full 30 minutes. I forgot how good it feels to exercise. I had been stubborn thinking I didn't want to include exercise. I wanted to lose weight simply by eating less. For the first 3 months it worked magically. But now, after losing only 6 pounds in the last 3 months, I need to do more. I am going into my surgeon for a 6 month check-up tomorrow and I will ask for a fill. This means going back to liquids for a few days, but I will be ok with that. I want to lose another 40 at least. I need to kickstart it with exercise and liquid diet.
