But this year, I don't have a resolution like that on my mind. Instead, I am planning trips and hikes for the year. Don't get me wrong - I still have a weight loss goal-- but I know weight loss will just happen organically. I don't have to "do" or "buy" anything- and it doesn't stress me out.
To kick the new year off right, I did go on liquids for two days. It is clearing out the sugar (cookies and candy) from my system. In case you didn't know, sugar is the enemy of everything! It hasn't been too bad. The first day is always the hardest. But, the Premier Shakes are on sale at Costco, so that's nice. I also had some soup because it is so cold outside. And lots of coffee. I think I will do it again today, just to up my protein and really feel the renewed energy.

Talk to the staff. You don't have to decide right on the spot. Find a surgery center that you feel comfortable with and take it from there.
